TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

  1. Payment to be received on or before completion of the move. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Eftpos, WINZ payments, Cash or Internet Transfer. All Visa and MasterCard’s will be charged when job has been completed. All bank direct credits must be cleared before job has been completed. Sorry, we do not accept cheques.
  2. Our designated arrival time is to be considered as a guide only. Various factors can affect our arrival time such as unexpected delays on previous job(s), delays caused by traffic congestion and/or accidents, roadwork’s and/or closures, streets not on maps and/or incorrect directions supplied by customer, weather, truck breakdown, etc. Easy Movers Ltd and/or its agents will maintain contact with you in the event any delay is going to be significant.
  3. Our estimate given for any particular job is provided based upon information supplied by the customer and/or their agent and can be effected by a number of things. The customer must ensure they have provided us with as much detail as possible to avoid delays which will cause the job to take longer than estimated.
  4. The half hourly rate charged on a depot to depot system. Time will start when we leave the depot and the driver will estimate the drive back to the depot allowing for traffic.
  5. Typical delays that can be avoided and/or accounted for at time of booking are; difficult vehicle accessibility for loading, stairs, more items than advised at time of booking, extra-large or odd shaped items, distances from truck to house(s), waiting for customers and/or keys, poor packing of cartons, additional pick up and/or drop off points, extreme weather conditions,
  6. To help avoid unnecessary time accrued, wherever possible, the customer should advise Easy Movers Ltd and/or its agents ASAP of any road closures and/or events that could delay the transportation of your goods from the origination address to the destination.
  7. Customers are to ensure they have an acceptable form of payment available upon completion of the job as delays caused whilst the truck waits for payment are chargeable.
  8. In the unlikely event of any incident that may cause a halt to the transportation of your goods, the half hourly rate shall continue until the truck is unloaded and has returned back to the depot.
  9. Easy Movers Ltd and/or its agents takes all due care and attention during your move but no liability. Please advise your insurers that your goods will be in transit.
  10.   11. The price estimated for your move is based upon our standard move terms which includes that in accordance with Clause 8 of the Carriage of Goods Act 1979 Easy Movers Ltd and/or its agents advise that they take all due care and attention and subject to Clause 12(a) herein, your move is accepted upon the understanding that it is ‘at owners risk’.
  12.     12(a) In the event you would like your move to be at Easy Movers Ltd and/or its agent’s risk, we are happy to offer this peace of mind service and if so required, you are to contact us without delay so we can provide an alternative quote for same.
  13. Easy Movers Ltd and/or its agents reserves the right to modify and vary these terms and conditions at any time.
  14. If Easy Movers Ltd and/or its agents fails to enforce any terms or to exercise its rights under these terms and conditions at any time, Easy Movers Ltd and/or its agents has not waived those rights

INSURANCE

  • We do not provide goods in transit insurance and strongly recommend that you arrange your own insurance. We suggest Ezi Moving Insurance (backed by Vero Insurance New Zealand Limited). Our team of professional movers endeavour to move your possessions carefully however on some occasions damages do occur.

CANCELLATION FEES

  • If you wish to cancel your booking you are advised to do so at the earliest possible opportunity to minimise any fees.
  • In the event a cancellation is received within 24 hours of your booking there will be a cancelation charge of $95.00 + GST.
  • If the team have left our depot and you cancel you will be charged for the time spent or our minimun charge of 1.5hrs what ever is greater.

PRICING

  • Our famous affordable rate is $25.00+gst per man, per half hour. easy!

LOCAL MOVES (Greater Auckland District)

  • The half hourly rate is charged on a depot to depot system. Time will start when the truck leaves the depot and the driver will calculate the drive back to the depot allowing for traffic.
  • Additional address pick-ups/drop offs are charged at $25.00+gst per additional address.

OUT OF AUCKLAND MOVES

  • The half hourly rate is charged on a depot to depot system. Time will start when the truck leaves the depot and the driver will calculate the drive back to the depot allowing for traffic.
  • Additional address pick-ups/drop offs are charged at $25.00+gst per additional address.
  • There is an additional charge of $0.88+gst per km for total distance return.

PIANO MOVES (Greater Auckland District)

  • There is a minimum charge of $150.00+gst. This will cover you for 1.5hrs including travel, any additional time spent is charged at $50.00+gst per half hour charged on a depot to depot system. Time will start when your truck leaves the depot and the driver will calculate the drive back to the depot allowing for traffic.
  • Additional address pick-ups/drop offs are charged at $25.00+gst per additional address.

By clicking "I Accept" and submitting booking information through Easy Movers Ltd online booking Service you agree to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, and any documents incorporated by reference. They further agree that this User Agreement forms a legally binding contract between you and Easy Movers Ltd and/or its agents, and that this Agreement constitutes "a writing signed by You" under any applicable law or regulation. Any rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by Easy Movers Ltd and/or its agentsa. This Agreement is subject to change by Easy Movers Ltd without prior notice (unless prior notice is required by law).
